Maajid el-Sylla

Maajid el-Sylla was born and raised in the Holy Land. Maajid served many years as a Katib. While doing this he encountered various Magi of the Hermetic Order. Maajid natural curious nature was intrigued by these wizards from the western world. Maajid would come to spend much time with magi of the Keeper of a Thousand Tales society. Maajid would teach Arabic and Greek to many apprentices for the Society. Only occasionally he would get in trouble for eavesdropping outside sanctums, hoping to see some magical secret. Eventually he would be asked to accompany one of these apprentices to a new covenant in Africa. Maajid agreed since he would be promised a Longevity potion for the trouble, besides his fascination for all things magic had only grown as he entered his 30s.
