Leander ex Flambeau is a massive man with a powerful build. His hair and beard are kept short. He bears a number of minor battle scars with pride. He generally wears dark brown clothing and is almost always armed with his warhammer. He frequently uses magic to change his size, he has been seen as short as 6' 3" and as tall as 15'.

Background
The only child of a mercenary captain, Leander started learning weapon skills at a young age. His unusual size and Gift prevented him from forming many friendships but his father's reputation prevented any serious trouble.

Leander was thirteen when his father died in battle. The mercenaries turned on the young man and cast him out of their company. He would have died except Servius ex Flambeau was already watching and claimed the young Leander as an apprentice.

Having his Gift opened seemed to restart Leander's growth; he grew two feet taller during the year after. Servius quickly determined that Leander's magic was closely tied to his body and mind for both good and ill.

Leander was trained in Savascha, a small covenant in South East Anatolia. With only four magi; Evren ex Veriditus, Reor ex Miscellanea, Servius ex Flambeau, and Tacitus ex Flambeau it is a small covenant that generally avoids getting involved in the politics of the Order. Both Servius and Tacitus follow the School of Ramius and tend to spend much of their time away from the covenant.
