Background:
Abd al-Wahid Hazm ibn Musa ibn Jamil al-Jayyani, for short Hazm al-Jayyani, was born in 1201 in Faiyum, or as someone continue to call it, Shedet. His father Musa is an herbalist that helps local community along the Nile to survive and he taught Hazm how to recognize herbs and plants. Hazm soon  joined the Apothecary Guild and started to roam the Nile to recover herbs. In his search he probably tasted some strange herb and from that moment he suffers from "awesome" hallucinations; from that moment not many people consider him a sane person, even his family almost rejected him. One day, when he was, as usual, searching for herbs near the Nile he met Baqir Al-Andalus, the two had a conversation about herbalism and other strange topics. Considered that Hazm was searching also for a place to stay, a month later Hazm joined Baqir in his covenant.
