Taller, thinner and older than Ambrose and Dexter, but with a marked family resemblance and usually a mad grin with a cackling laugh. Thinning red-grey hair and beard. Blood-shot pale watery grey eyes. Long, thin, scarred but very able hands. Expelled from the University of Cambridge for black sorcery. M. D. from the University of Leyden in Batavia, where they care nothing about sorcery.
He can heal with his hands or madden with his eyes. He sells charms for raising winds and calming storms (not guaranteed to work), and maps to islands where dragons or barbaric tribes (or both) guard legendary secret treasures (not guaranteed to be genuine). He can also tell ambitious young mages where they just might find valuable grimoires -- no guarantees of success or survival. Usually found in the darkest corner of the Ambidexter Arms taproom.
