Kovani is a young Fire Genasi. He is tall with a strong, athletic frame. He has dark reddish-brown skin and long, flowing red hair. He could possibly pass for human, if it wasn't for his deep red eyes that seem to glow.

He has not been in the city long, having travelled from a far away land. It seems he is looking for a new home. He has revealed that he previously served at the Grand Temple of Ogun-Shango in Oo’mpele, on the other side of the Great Desert.

He wear a serviceable set of chain mail beneath his official blue and silver tabard, with a cloak drawn about to keep off the rain and the cold. He has a longsword and dagger sheathed at his belt, with a hefty looking club dangling from a belt frog and a solid-looking but worn shield slung over his shoulder. He is also carrying a light crossbow on a leather strap.
