Jed is a massive bear of a man, standing at over 7 feet in Homid form, with coarse black hair covering most of his torso and arms. Typically wanders about in worn down overalls, with a floppy hat and boots that should probably be replaced.

In his more bestial forms, his Forest Walker tribe traits show themselves, as he becomes a larger than average black bear.

To the tune of "The Beverly Hillbillies" theme:
Come and listen to my story 'bout a man named Jed
A poor werebear, barely kept his family fed.
And then one day he was shooting at some food
And up from the ground came a gibbering brood!
Banes, that is,
Wyrm spawn, Gaia's foes.

Well, the next thing you know, Ol' Jed's a millionaire
His Grandpappy said, "Jed, mosey on down there!"
Said, "Bites-the-Bullet has a rite goin' on"
So he loaded up his hooch and went to see the pooch!
Wolves, that is. Corvids, and Bastet too.
