Leo Jones attended Sanjo University, a university based on a space station in his 20s. He graduated and was employed by the university for a few years to research some pre scream artifacts that the university had collected. In his early 30s he had a mishap with one of his experiments that caused a feedback powersurge to the stations power core, frying 80% of the electronics on board and leaving the station dead in the water for a month.

To say they were not pleased with him was an understatement. He saw the writing on the wall and left on one of the first evac shuttles while repairs were underway. He received his official letter of dismissal in the following days once the feedback was traced back to the lab he was working in.
