Glennwald (his friends call him 'Glenn', Arena fans call him "The Rusty Spike") is not a handsome man by any means. Rapidly approaching middle-age, with a face distorted by years of fighting and weathered skin damaged by exposure and poor nutrition; he has a face made for wearing a helmet, which he often does. His stage persona rarely showed much of the man underneath: every square inch of his body was almost always covered by jagged spiky armor of varying quality; making him look as much the part of the heel he always played. His appearance played to audience expectations. Even when not in the Serpent's Run doing his job, he's always favored heavy coverage; wearing a beaten gambeson when relaxing at a tavern, and wearing full-body undergarments to sleep.

Despite his messy and low-class appearance, he doesn't generally smell, unless you catch him just after exercising. Glennwald isn't a smart man, but his mother beat into him an appreciation for good hygiene at the very least. He might be missing a few teeth, but the ones still in his mouth are mostly white and healthy. He also takes good care of his physical conditioning, and underneath his numerous scars and discolored patches of skin from repeated bruising, he is all muscle; limber and always ready for the next match!
