Ryan Burris is relatively short at 5'6", but lean and square-jawed with dark brown hair and a mustache. He hails from Ft. Worth, TX, and grew up on his family farm. Before the war, he worked as an agronomist with a local co-op and has civilian pilot license for crop-dusting operations. At outset of hostilities, he joined the USAF, hoping to fly. Before being assigned to a squadron, the Air Force didn't have enough planes or fuel to fly. He was re-assigned as a ground crew/maintenance officer as part of the 469th Air Base Group at Rhein-Main Air Base. He is a fairly useless combatant, but knows how to fix stuff and grow the shit out of corn, soybeans, and cotton.
