Princess Diana grew up on Paradise Island, the secret island civilization of the Amazons. The firstborn daughter of Queen Hippolyta, Diana exemplified the best virtues of Amazon culture and womanhood. Beautiful. Strong. Wise. Swift. Compassionate. Loving. Unfettered by toxic masculinity, Diana developed her mind, skill, and physical prowess behind that of the Amazons.

When Major Steve Trevor crash-landed on the shores of Paradise Isle, Diana rescued him and nursed him back to full health. Hippolyta and her chief scientist learned of the Nazi menace that brought Trevor to their hidden island. The Nazis threatened the freedom of the outside world, and the Queen decreed that an Amazon must escort him back. A contest of skill and physical ability would determine which Amazon would travel with Trevor and help the Allies fight the Axis in World World War II. Princess Diana defied her mother’s orders and entered the contest, defeating all challengers. Her mother relented when she heard Diana’s impassioned plea, and designed a costume, declaring that her daughter would be a “Wonder Woman”!

Wonder Woman returned Steve to Washington D.C., where she foiled a sabotage ring run by Trevor’s secretary, Marcia, who was secretly a Nazi spy. Soon afterward, Wonder Woman soon made a name for herself as America’s Number One Heroine, foiling Nazi spies, gangsters, aliens, and the earliest super-villains! She hid her true identity by posing as Yeoman Diana Prince, but with one twirl, transformed into the Amazing Amazon, Wonder Woman!

Appearance: Diana stands nearly six feet tall, a tanned and curvaceous beauty with lithe limbs. Black hair runs last her shoulders in soft waves. Pale blue eyes shine with kindness and understanding, often accompanied by a dazzling smile! As Wonder Woman, she wears a daring costume that resembles a star-spangled bathing suit. A golden eagle emblazons a red bustier that hugs her shapely bosom. High-cut blue panties with white stars hug a fit bottom, and shows off legs that would shame Betty Grable! A golden Belt of Strength cinches a tight waist, bearing on her hip the Golden Lasso of Truth that compels obedience. Silver bracelets encircle her slender wrists and repel bullets. Crowning Diana’s head is a magical, golden tiara with a red star. Sharp-tipped red boots with a red stripe completes her outfit.

Powers: Wonder Woman possesses superhuman strength, able to lift cars and stop a tank in its tracks. She runs at superhuman speed, easily able to keep up with a car. Her training on Paradise Island honed her agility beyond human ability, enabling her to deflect bullets with her bracelets, catch miniature missiles, and snare foes with her Magic Lasso. Wonder Woman’s  endurance exceeds normal limits, although she may be rendered helpless by gas and poison attacks. She leaps with superhuman ability, easily jumping from or reaching points several stories tall. As an Amazon, Diana is immortal and smarter than the majority of the human world. Occasionally, Diana has displayed limited telepathic ability, although that may be an attribute of her Tiara.

Weapons & Devices: Wonder Woman’s bracelets are made of an indestructible metal known as Feminum, or, alternately, Amazonium. She deflects bullets, arrows, blades, and even lasers with her bracelets. Her tiara is equally indestructible and functions like a boomerang that flawlessly returns when hurled. Perhaps Wonder Woman’s most powerful weapon is her Magic Lasso, which compels obedience and forces anyone bound to tell the truth. Nothing known can sever the Lasso, and only a select few may resist its power. Wonder Woman crosses international distances with her Invisible Plane, which not only can’t be seen, but also exceeds the flight speed of any mortal aircraft. Certain sources claim that the Plane responds to Wonder Woman’s mental commands.
