Tashi knows they are an outsider, a forgotten feral child, plucked from a dark corner of the jungle all those years ago.

No one else has ever let them forget.

The marks of their aspect manage to cover some of the sins of their heritage, but even then, it’s obvious to any observer. It’s obvious in the bones of their face, in the nutbrown tones of their skin, in the deep green vibrancy of their hair and in the bright honey gold eyes that hold a spirit that cannot be tamed. Its obvious in the myriad of ways that the Stairs and the legion couldn't beat out of them.

They never fully left the jungle behind, the scent of the rich growth following them as a constant echo of where they came from. Even their hair reflects their origins, the deep green strands usually tamed into a braid with hidden thorns for the unwary opportunist. As is common for their aspect, star-shaped white flowers grow in a delicate diadem amongst the green tresses. Other than the flowers, there is little about Tashi that could be considered delicate.

The civilization of the Realm has never fully contained the wildness in Tashi, never quite managed to train away. But what their training did manage was to take their height and build, honing their skill so they move with all the grace and strength of the tigers that stalked the jungle.

So, they wear their heritage proudly, because no one will let them forget where they came from.
