Wearing a pale blue woolen tunic, a brilliant scarlet cloak, and a necklace of amber at his throat, Dragan is a merchant ship captain who purchases and sells goods from Gaul to Britain. He is a lean man who has become accustomed to the harsh conditions of the North Sea. In addition to the amber he wears, a Christian cross and a Norse hammer hang from leather thongs around his neck.
