Backstory:
65999968 year ago: Kara Zor-L was born.

65999978 year ago: Argo began to become unhospitable due to climate change and pollution.

65999982 year ago: Kara began training to join the Argoan Exploration Guild

65999984 year ago: During the final test one of the trainees murdered Kara's boyfriend. She brought him to justice. He was sentenced to death, but a few members of the council decided to secretly exile him. Kara was assigned to Scout Ship 0344.

65999994 year ago: The crew spent 10 years in hibernation. Kara woke up to find her crew dead at the hands of the same murderer who killed her boyfriend. They fought destroying a good deal of the bridge. They both discovered they had powers. She was forced to kill him. The ship crashed on an unknown planet. Kara exited the ship she found what she considered paradise.

66000000 year ago: After living on the planet for six years Kara discovered an asteroid the Argoan Science Guild would classify as a planet killer. Kara spent the next several hours saying goodbye to the giant reptiles she called her friends. She took shelter in her ship. Knowing the planet would be uninhabitable for a long time she programmed the computer to wake her up when the planet was hospitable. She got back in her hibernation pod."

1995: Kara was found and revived by Cadmus. They told her she was Karen Starr a human who lost her entire family because of supervillains trying to kill Superman, she was a willing human test subject exposed X-Kryptonite giving her the same powers as Superman. She was suffering from amnesia an unfortunate and rare side effect of X-Kryptonite exposure. The story plus a hypnosis and drugs allowed them to turn her into their enforcer, assassin operating under the codename Galatea. She was under strict orders to avoid Superman at all costs even if it meant abandoning the mission.

1996: Karen's abilities with computers were far superior to any humans. While working with Cadmus she developed the most sophisticated spyware the world has ever seen.

1997: With funding from Cadmus Karen started ⭐ware. ⭐ware's first product was the first smartphone the ⭐phone. It came preloaded with her spyware.

1998: Karen developed Kela a smart A.I. virtual assistant. A dumbed down version was installed on all ⭐phones. She designed Kela's programming after a broken alien robot. Karen also started to have dreams that were so real she would have thought they were memories, but they were impossible. She named Kela after a robot from one of those dreams.

1999: Karen started to remember things even when she was not asleep. She forced her way through Cadmus to find the spaceship she was remembering. She found her room. She found her most prized possession a stuffed Ka-Es, it resembled a Unicorn. Her memories were completely restored after her finding the ship. She became enraged. Using everything Cadmus taught her she went on a search and destroy mission to eradicate every Cadmus facility and criminal she could find. She never did find the director a fat and very intimidating woman known only as Waller. She programmed a new update for all ⭐phones to eradicate her spyware which would spread throughout the internet like a virus eradicating all spyware.

2000: Kara gave up her search and quest for vengeance. She began to practice her religion again. In accordance with her religion, it is okay to kill in defense of others or oneself, to kill otherwise costs a person their soul. She took an absolute vow of peace, dedicating her life to the preservation of life. She began donating the vast majority of ⭐ware's profits to charities.

2013: Since Kara took her vow of peace, she has not hurt anyone who did not attempt to hurt others even then she did only the bare minimum to stop them. The worst injury was a broken bone. When Zod's army invaded she defended others from them. Always incapacitating never killing. She was about to help Superman with Zod when Superman killed Zod, but also an entire innocent family. She left never making her presence known, she could not be around him until he made it right.

2015: When Doomsday attacked Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman Kara was at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean dealing with a sunken Russian nuclear sub. She stopped it from contaminating the ocean for thousands of years. When she returned to the surface, she learned of the massive death toll in Metropolis. Over half the city destroyed, several million dead, Superman died insuring Doomsday would die, Batman broken. The loss to the planet was devastating. Kara developed a new suit and started operating as Power Girl.

2017: Bruce Wayne’s people contacted Karen’s people about a meeting it was advertised as just a typical business meeting between rival companies. She studied him he oozed the confidence and strength of a ten men, despite being paralyzed. The minute they were alone he told her everything he knew about her and assumptions based on all available data. He made the offer to join his alliance. She did not trust him but saw the wisdom in the offer. She agreed to join on the condition he tell her everything he knew of Superman.
