Backstory: 3000 B.C.: Diana is born. She was created for the sole purpose to be a powerful weapon, the only thing that could kill a god: another god.
1918: Steve Trevor accidentally discovers Themyscira while fleeing from the Germans. After a battle against the Germans which resulted in several Amazons dying, Steve told the Amazons all about the War to End All Wars. Diana believed the war was caused by Ares. She accompanied Steve to Man's World. After some trouble they recruited some help and began heading towards Germany. She insisted that they stop along the way to help the town of Veld. Eventually they make their way to a ball where Diana meets the man, she believed to be Ares in disguise. That man massacred Veld with a new chemical weapon. She eventually killed that man, but nothing changed the war continued. She eventually discovered that the man from London arguing for armistice was Ares. She watched as Steve selflessly sacrifices his life to destroy the gas that destroyed Veld. Diana was losing against Ares, Steve's sacrifice inspired Diana to fight with renewed vigor against Ares. She killed Ares. With the death of Ares, she freed mankind from its induced aggressive compulsions thereby ending the war.

1939: With the outbreak of World War II Diana participated but she was unable to end it like she did the first one because Adolf Hitler wielded the Spear of Destiny. The spear created a sphere of influence that would put her under Hitler's sway turning her against mankind. She did what she could outside the sphere. When superpowered beings classified as Metahuman started to emerge she focused on stopping them.

1945: After the death of Hitler, she went to Germany and investigated the source of Hitler's sphere of influence that would have corrupted her. She discovered an ancient Roman spear. Realizing it was the Spear of Destiny she split it into numerous pieces and scattered the pieces around the world into volcanoes.

1950: Diana & Etta Candy the last of the Wonder Men move to America.

1955: She finds Asteria's armor and keeps in a storage box in her home.

1984: Diana foils a heist involving black market of stolen antiques at a shopping mall. While visiting a coworker at the Smithsonian working on the antiques for the FBI, she unwittingly uses the Dreamstone by wishing for Steve Trevor's return at the cost of slowly losing her powers. At the White House she confronted Maxwell Lord who wished to be the human embodiment of the Dreamstone. She was attacked by Barbara Minerva a colleague and friend from the Smithsonian who had wished to be more like Diana. Diana was defeated by Barbara. With threats of a nuclear war underway, and Lord reaching absolute control, Steve convinces Diana to renounce her wish. She dons Asteria's armor and flew to the broadcast station where Maxwell was granting wishes to everyone over the airwaves. Diana was forced to fight Barbara again, but this time Maxwell had granted Barbara's with of being an apex predator. Diana tried to convince Barbara to renounce her wish but with her morality and humanity sacrificed for the power she was incapable of it. Diana took pity on Barbara and merely subdued her because she simply wanted to be strong, not malevolent. Diana knew there was a possibility that killing Maxwell would save humanity, but she could not risk it. Diana used her lasso to communicate with the world through him, convincing everyone to renounce their wishes, with remarkable success. With the wishes renounced, the world was restored to its former imperfection.

1985: Diana was approached by the director of the Department of Extranormal Operations. She refused.
1986: While on assignment for the Smithsonian Diana finds the Sword of Artemis and the Eagle Shield in Greece. She was also attacked by a Metahuman, like the ones she fought during World War II. While investigating the metahuman she bumped into Cameron Chase of the DEO. They teamed up to figure out the rash of metahuman attacks. They discovered Jotunheim an old Nazi World War II base in Qurac under the command of Jihad. Diana and numerous DEO agents were able to stop Jihad and end the metahuman threat. Diana agreed to join the DEO after that she was assigned to the Department of Metahuman Affairs a subdivision of the DEO.

2013: While undercover in Paris she took a job with the Louvre.

2015: Diana becomes aware that Lex has a picture of her with the Wonder Men from 1918. She meets Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent at a party Lex was throwing. She teams up with Bruce Wayne who was also invested in finding Lex's secrets. They discovered Lex know of three metahumans. Before she could do anything about as a DEO agent. Doomsday attacked the city looking for the Kryptonian. Superman, Batman, & Wonder Woman attacked Doomsday. During the attack over half of Metropolis died. Millions were dead. During the fight Wonder Woman became trapped under the rubble of several buildings. She freed herself in time to see a dismembered Superman use every last bit of strength in him to kill Doomsday. She searched and searched the rubble of the city looking for survivors. She eventually found by Batman, the Batsuit was all but tatters. She flew him to the nearest hospital after removing what was left of the Batsuit.

2017: A paralyzed Bruce Wayne approached her. She was surprised he did not have an exosuit or something to compensate. His idea of an alliance of metahumans for threats such as the like of Doomsday was something she had considered before. She joined under the condition if she acted as a liaison between them and the DEO.
