Halatir is a multi colour Parrot from tropical island.
He is the on - off companion of a very dodgy female elf that known to work on a few pirate crews in her time.  She also been known to do many other jobs.  Including teach and looking after the library at the magic school.
She is however unreliable.  Drifts from job to job.  However many people around the city seem to owe her one way or anther which sees to get her out of many scrapes she gets herself into.

Halatir however is calm.  Likes to study.  He speaks both common and elvish.
