She seems to enjoy haggling with the market traders in various languages and keeps her escort in reasonable humour, with tips and jokes about the potential upside to life in dusty Prax, a place about which she seems to have learned quite a lot. Her facility for 'talking officer' gives rise to a certain disquiet in the barrack block, but the advantages of having a company cook who can regrow a messmate's limb are obvious.
