Dark of hair, and eye Katal is a Sable Praxian to his bones. His skin is tanned by the sun of the plains, and his features are harsh and defined. He keeps his long hair tied back, and his beard trimmed, with none of the jewelry or headdresses worn by a wealthy Praxian. He bears two runes of Death flanking a rune of Truth tattooed in black ink on his left shoulder the runes of his patron god Humakt.

Standing almost 2 meters tall, with broad shoulders and a lean build, Katal makes for a grim visage with his stony features. Often garbed in the trousers and the short cloak customary of his people, his clothes are muted and usually of the sandy colors best suited for blending into the terrain of his home. A constant presence looming over his shoulder is the black hilt and heavy pommel of the great sword he keeps sheathed at his back.
