History

Kai Walker is descended from Pacific Islanders who fled to the US after China’s Imperialistic ambitions turned to the Pacific and the rich oil deposits there a few years before the invasion of Alaska. His people established a new demographic and cultural home in California which survives to this day in the New California Republic.

Early on, Kai developed a penchant for the art of the barter and even as a teenager began traveling around to nearby settlements to negotiate deals. This kindled an interest in meeting new people and seeing new places which would eventually take him to New Vegas.

There, as a chance encounter, he would meet individuals from Bunker Hill who had arrived there for a couple weeks to visit old friends and carry out trade deals for the caravans which traveled to their home on the east coast’s Commonwealth. They struck up a friendship and when the next caravan set back out for Old Boston, Kai traveled with them.

Once there he would meet Richard Wolfgang, Tegan, and their children (who were around his age), Corey and Jessica. He would spend the next two years assisting Richard with caravan business and traveling between the newly emerging center of civilization in the Commonwealth conducting barter and business.

Physical Description

Kai is a young man of twenty-three years of age. He has light brown skin, and a broad, handsome face. His jaw is square and his nose broad as well. He has dark eyes, and a near continual five o’ clock shadow. His dark hair is cut short and well styled.
