A shock of white hair and voluminous facial hair sprout around customized goggles with a rotating selection of lenses and attachments, ranging from smoked welding goggles to high magnification.  Strabus is a small man with a large presence, being both loud and frequently unbathed.  He habitually wears plain, cheap clothing covered with sturdy leather gloves and frock, and on his back is a terrifyingly mobile contraption of clacking gears and hissing hydraulics, which is presently extending jointed limbs to brew a pot of tea on the table behind him.
