Hanako is a pleasing to behold Kithai young lady of 18 summers, and fond of wearing a vermilion cotton over-robe, in honour of her house's namesake, Akari.

She studies many things, from foul language of the gutter, to the heaven's celestial stars and the scholars of ancient times, from the fierce beasts of the jungle and rarest healing plants to the tastiest street vendor snacks to be found.

She is curious by nature, and eager to learn of new ideas, places and people.
