Neil is a strapping young man who often often gives the impression of a competent but somewhat dull soldier to those that make his acquaintance.

While friendly enough, and handsome in his way, he is not particularly bright and tends to struggle when the conversation strays into more complicated matters.

His speech is that of a rough commoner, but now and then a more genteel word sneaks it's way into his vocabulary. He seems like the sort that might be fun to go drinking with.

He wears the faded and threadbare cavalry uniform from some unrecognizable house, knee length black boots, and a weathered brown greatcoat. A saber with a simple brass guard hangs upon a baldric on his left side.

His constant companion is a large black stallion, "Bruiser", who seems irritable and more than a little stubborn.
