Eliza Louise Moreau is a short Creole woman with dark straight hair. In the old days, she'd have been describes as "quadroon," a term that meant quarter-black, but using that word in her presence today will earn you a glare at least and probably a slap. She works at the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office managing the intake and outflow of cadavers.
