Izanami-no-Mikoto's Primal Magics would make Ami a stronger, stranger fighter, but they also left her slightly more than human. Now firmly on the radar of everything inhuman in the greater Los Angeles area, Ami found her old, boring vigilante problems replaced by a confusing introduction into a Supernatural society that regarded her as something of a serial killer.

With an assist from a meddling kindly, and annoyingly cryptic Wizard (did they come otherwise?), Ami was eventually convinced to stop trying to fight every creature of the night, and redirected into a Law Enforcement career with the SPARCLE organization, a group of Powers-That-Be, Deputized Paranormal Secret Agents, bent on solving Supernatural crimes.
