Renault, or Renny if you like, can normally be found with a tankard in his hand. It is known how good his fortunes are by what he drinks, poor and it is ale, decent and whiskey is his drink of choice, finally in good times he drinks only the finest of meads. He wears traveler's clothes cut for comfort and ease of movement. He carries a staff, though it could simply be to aid him in walking. No other visible weapons can be found. He has an amulet around his neck which if one is close enough, smells like whiskey soaked wood.
