The Captain always told him, first impressions are important, and he kept that close to mind.

The first time they met him, Many-Tidings Befall would look every bit the captain he was. Dressed finally, but with a clear inclination towards function as well as form, he walked with a purposed grace down the ramp of his airship, Requiem for Daybreak.

A well spoken man despite his humble origins, he is handsome and tall, with dark hair and warm brown skin, tanned from the sun and sky and his natural disposition. Dark curly hair is kept just this side of disheveled, but like much upon the Requiem it is a controlled chaos, allowing him to look just slightly more roguish by design. Smelling faintly of salt and foreign spices he’d offer a hand.

And, a successful partnership.

Affable and friendly, Many-Tidings Befall constantly curious. While his skill as a business man and negotiator are inarguable, he seems to have little real interest in accumulating wealth. He does, sometimes, because he’s pragmatic and he understands that you need these things to accomplish what you actually want, but it is just a means to a greater end, never an end in and of itself. His true vice is his curiosity. He is always someone who asks why, and learning more about the world around him is one of his greatest callings.

Protective by nature, something The Captain nurtured in him, he tends to have a sense of responsibility for those around him that often supersedes his own desires. A captain is nothing without a crew after all, and the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Still, he has his vices as most men do, in addition to the more typical vices of a young and healthy man, has a notably tendency to enjoy mind altering substances when he has the chance to do so, though he tries to avoid letting it negatively impact his duties.
