Josie doesn’t quite look her full thirty four years old. Most would peg her as a couple of years younger. Which is generous, and always makes her smile. She’s got a great smile on her, does Josie. it curves the corners of pillowy lips and reveals brilliant white teeth and creases little dimples in her cheeks. Her whole face lights up, and best of all is that sparkle in her moss green eyes. It’s like the suns trapped in there, and shining out with all its warmth. Long, golden tresses frame an open, heart shaped face, and in the center of it all is a very expressive little pug nose that's dusted by a band of freckles.

She’s not tall, but not short either, curvaceous in hips and chest, and while she’s in decent shape, she is a little soft here and there.

The only truly distinguishing feature about her, is the little blue ladybug she has tattooed on her wrist. And a decently uneventful life has left her with very few scars. Although she bears the stretch marks left from her pregnancy with pride, little stripes that line her hips and belly alike.

The Mind

Most people would describe Josie as outgoing, vivacious, bubbly even. She smiles widely, laughs loudly, and embraces every day with open arms. It’s this sort of relentless positivity and optimism that has fueled her her whole life, and it has always served her well.

She’s smart, witty, and possesses a often shockingly cutting and ribald sense of humor. Something she developed to make her wife laugh, as she had to compete with all the real rough stuff she heard around flight school.

At home she’s much more sedate, and a real homebody when you get to know her. She likes to putter around the house, tending to chores, and getting cozy on the couch with a good book and a glass of wine, and likes it much better than going out to some big shindig or event.

The History

Josephine Walker lived a rather middle of the road life. Still does one suppose. But she enjoys it. She was born and raised in an arcology built smack in the middle of the gulf of Mexico, to parents who worked in the field of terraforming research. The number 5R Arcology was a decent place to grow up, and did not differ much from your average middle class upbringing. She got into the same sorts of scrapes all children do, flew through high school with good grades and a spot on the cheer squad, and when it was eventually time to go to college she opted for the mainland rather than staying put in the arcology.

She went to UT-Austin, where she studied architecture and environmental engineering. That was also where she met her future wife, and finally figured out why none of the boys had ever seemed even a little bit appealing to her.

Now it’s years later, and she runs her one woman architecture firm out of her living room, her primary focus placed on creating environmentally sustainable modular habitats. Darius, her beautiful baby boy, is ten years old and looks so much like his other mother that it hurts to look at him when she’s away up among the stars.
