Background: If you were to ask Ray Donovan about his family, odds are he'd smile and tell you they like to travel. In truth, that's about the way it has been for a few hundred years. The British Isles, South America, Australia, Russia, any of them you could find someone from his family having settled down in. As part of a centuries old rite, when coming of age in his family you leave out and make your own way for two years.

Some return home, but many take to the travel with glee, leading to them having scattered far over the generations.

Ray grew up in the mountains of the Carolinas, but starting with a 3 month roadie gig he has made his way across nearly half the country already. Travelling, working to support himself and then move on, before repeating the cycle until something stuck.

And well, something did. A goblin under his cart while he was working landscaping on a golf course. It was far from expected, but the wounded creature was still a dangerous threat until he bludgeoned it to death with a club. The rise of another dungeon saw him out of a job, but he took the basics someone advised him on and decided. He'd make his way as an adventurer. Not the first among his many relatives, but the only of the ones he knew personally.

Personality: A nice guy who is far from home, yet lost in his own wanderlust. Friendly and always willing to lend a hand, but his drive has shifted with his inclusion into the world of dungeon delving. Now he finds himself eager for the next conflict in a way he wasn't before.
