The eldest child of Estienne and Aalis de Biard, Margeurite is a bright young woman who can be rather naive about the world. Though very beautiful, she does not put much store into her looks and is mostly interested in reading and poetry, riding and caring for her horses, and looking after the day to day of her family's home.
Though she is the firstborn child of the family, she did not inherit the Biard estate when her father died, due to laws prohibiting women from owning property. Instead, the inheritance went to her uncle Jean, as her parents were never blessed with a son.

Margot is dubiously aware of the fact that her uncle, now the Lord of the Biard manor, wishes to marry off not just herself, but likely her younger sister, Melisende, as well. At only eight and ten years old, Melisende has always relied on Margot, and Margot feels a great deal of responsibility and love for the girl. Margot hopes her impending betrothal will be enough to satisfy her uncle for a few years so that her sister might get to continue her carefree lifestyle for some time.

Margot is of medium height and build. She stands at 5'5" and has the slender wrists and long elegant fingers one might associate with a pianist in modern-day. Her long chestnut hair is often held back in a crespinette or a plait, but it falls past her waist when it is not restrained. Blue doe-eyes, a pert nose, and a sultry pink mouth accent her heart-shaped face. Her fair complexion contrasts starkly against the wisps of dark hair that often come loose around her temples.
