Rien is 5' 9¼" with long blonde hair, which she always keeps down. Her outfit is a combination of black, grey, and white. It is only armored in the bust. When not wearing that, she usually can be seen in whatever she feels like wearing.

Powers:
Rien possesses all the magical abilities of her mother, Sylvie D'Arqueness, along with her mutant heritage from her father, Wolverine.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Reine's body naturally regenerates most (if not all) damaged or destroyed tissue and organs at a rate that exceeds that of any normal human. The rate of regeneration is proportional to the damage caused just like Wolverine’s.

Insulated Weather Adaptation: Rien's body is highly resistant to certain elemental extremes, particularly cold, to the extent that she can sleep nude in subarctic conditions with no apparent injury.

Contaminant Immunity: Rien's natural healing also affords her virtual immunity to poisons, viruses, diseases, and most drugs.

Fatigue Resistance: Rien is partially resistant to fatigue poisons produced from physical activity.

Decelerated Aging: In addition, Rien's healing factor provides her with an extended lifespan by slowing the effects of the aging process. Although over 100 years of age, Rien retains the health, appearance, and physical vitality of a woman in the physical prime of her life.

Retractable Bone Claws: Like those of her father, Reine has retractable bone claws, but hers cast a blue glow.

Superhumanly Acute Senses: Rien’s super-human senses are a combination of a separate mutant ability and her Healing Factor since her sense organs atrophy at a much slower rate than normal humans. Her most improved senses are sight, hearing, and smell.

Superhuman Hearing: Rien is capable of hearing sounds from a far greater distance than any human.

Superhuman Sight: Rien's sight is improved, allowing her to see further than a normal human.

Superhuman Smell: Rien’s sense of smell is even more magnified and allows her to recognize and track objects and people just by smell alone. While in Hell she could smell her mother, whom she hadn’t seen since she was ten.

Superhuman Taste: Rien can distinguish individual ingredients in food or drink she consumes at a smaller part per volume than a normal person.

Superhuman Touch: Rien's sense of touch gives her greater sensitivity to air direction and temperature differentials in her environment.

Superhuman Strength: Rien's strength is also boosted to enhanced levels.

Superhuman Speed: Rien can move at low-level superhuman speeds. She has attacked faster than the eye could follow. Her combat speed seems more enhanced than anything else.

Superhuman Stamina: Rien's healing factor grants her superhuman stamina and is partially immune to fatigue toxins generated by physical exertion and thus has greater endurance than actual humans. Her stamina has been described as metahuman, indicating the ability to continually exert herself for several days at peak efficiency.

Superhuman Durability: Rien has superhuman durability due to her healing factor.

Enhanced Reflexes and Agility: Rien's reflexes and agility are enhanced beyond the capabilities of the normal human body.

Sorcery: Reine can do sorcery due to her being part of the Clan D'Arqueness.

Portal Creation: Reine can create a portal to Hell.

Skills: She was trained for one purpose, to be a warrior. Her sole purpose for existence was to be the satisfaction of a debt owed by her clan to the world. Fluent in French and English. Firearms training from S.H.I.E.L.D.

Equipment: Two Glock Pistols

History: Rien was born to Sylvie D'Arqueness in 1962 after a one-night stand with Wolverine. Her mother seemingly died in 1972 when she was dragged to Hell by the demon Truth. She first saw her father very briefly in 1989 as he was being banished from the clan and told to stay out of their business. In 1995 she saved the X-Men from Truth but not before Truth killed Cyclops, Storm, & Talisman. In 2008 her father tracked her down again, a shell of his former self. He was emaciated and scrawny. Together they went to Hell to kill Truth before he could come back to Earth and kill more people. While there they had to fight their way through scores of demons. Rien discovered her mother was still alive in Hell. Sylvie informed everyone that Truth was truly immortal. Using the combined magical powers of Sylvie and Rien they escaped Hell through the Hell of many doors to the first time Logan met Sylvie in 1942. Truth followed them through. The Truth of 1942 confronted with the lie that encompassed its very existence fought the Truth of 2008. They would have let the two Truths fight each other for eternity but their fight could destroy the world. With the magic of Rien, Sylvie of 2008 along with the magic of Marie D'Arqueness of 1942 they were able to cast a spell that would seal the two Truths away for eternity, but it required the Sylvie and Logan of 2008 to act as locks. The four of them were turned to stone.

With her sole reason for existence ended she was without a purpose. She spent several years getting to know the man that would have fathered her. Being with her father also meant being involved in whatever trouble he was involved with. She spent her entire life dedicated to combat she wanted to know what peace was like. She joined a monastery, she spent half the amount of time as she did with her father. Growing board and gaining an understanding what she fought for she rededicated her life to combat but with a balance. She joined S.H.I.E.L.D. for a time but the bureaucracy ruined the experience, not to mention the infighting between Fury and Hill.

She worked on and off with the X-Men, Avengers, and other teams. She was never a permanent member of any group. When Cyclops started the X-Force as a black ops squad he put Wolverine in charge. Wolverine was responsible for recruiting the rest of the team Rien & X-23 were his first two choices. After the death of her father, X-Force disbanded.
