Rupert "The Axe" Morigan is the founder and head of the Kill Squad, a rival bounty hunter's guild. Once a member of the Retriever's Guild, Rupert (to his friends, if he has any) was 'let go' because he was too violent, too vicious, too nasty, out of control, and pretty much didn't get along with anyone else.

He founded his own bounty hunter's guild, the Kill Squad. You don't hire them unless you want someone dead.

The Axe got his nickname from the double axe he wields as his preferred weapon. His standing joke comment upon getting a bounty assignment is: "Heads will roll!"
