Kelly Hughes

Name: Kelly Hughes
Age: 28

Occupation: Associate Attorney
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Kinks/Style: Kelley like to play it cool and hard to get. Once the ice is broken, she likes it shameless, aggressive, and rough. She like her man to lead, but she is very enthusiastic when turned on. She hasn't found many limits, but she hasn't really done anything all that edgy either.

Personality: Kelly is friendly but generally serious. Law school was hard and she wants to be taken seriously. She might be a bit slow to pick up on jokes or social cues, but she is a bit looser with a few drinks.
Interests/Hobbies: Kelley is a bit of a workaholic. She spends extra hours on her cases. If there are firm socials and happy hours, she will go to those. She wants to be part of the community as much as possible. On her own time, she reads crime fiction, runs, and spends maybe too little time with her husband, Ken.

In the courtroom, Kelley is professional, to the point, and doesn't mince words. Lawyers that don't know her personally have called her an ice queen.

Appearance: Kelley is 5'5" with brown hair, and hazel eyes. She is pretty but seldom dresses or makes herself up to her potential. She dresses in appropriate business suits, sometimes skirts, sometimes pants. She like dark colors, usually black or navy. But sometimes she will opt for light browns. Shoes are usually low heels, or sensible pumps. Her makeup is usually restricted to eye liner, but will add a bit more color for court. Kelley needs glasses, especially for reading, but she will also wear contacts. Unless she's dressing for an occasion, her jewelry will be her wedding set, small stud or dot earrings, and a fine necklace with a tiny pendant, which changes from day to day.

History: Kelley Devlin grew up in Upstate NY. She was a good student, though she got very little encouragement from her family or teachers. She didn't want to be like her mom who was married by 18 with her older brother already on the way. She studied extra hard and avoided getting into too much trouble, especially with boys.

Kelley was accepted to Rutgers with a partial scholarship. Her parents couldn't cover the rest so she waited tables and even took an exotic dancing job temporarily to pay the tuition. The extra activity delayed her graduation but she eventually earned a degree in Criminal Justice and acceptance to Yale Law School.

Ken Hughes entered Kelley's life while she was at law school. He was a medical school student in his last year before residency. They got married within 3 months, supporting each other through the most difficult parts of their schooling.

At 26, Kelley finally passed her Bar exam and went to work for the NY DA. She did well, winning most of her cases, but didn't really enjoy public service. She applied at Sloane and was offered a junior associate position. Since then, she has been dedicated to proving her value.

With Ken still in residency and Kelley working constantly their marriage is strained. Ken makes extra effort, but Kelley is more focused on her job. She wants it to work out, but can't seem to make it a priority.
