Personality: Mal is a very reserved man, preferring to keep to his books and organization. He is well liked in the office for his attention to detail and desire to keep things easy for those he is Assistant to. He does have a bad habit of 'sneaking up' on his employer- he just forgets to talk and let them know when he is near. It doesn't come as too much of a shock- he has an eidetic memory, and uses his talents to keep his 'charge' on topic and on schedule. An odd trait for the quiet man- if he is tasked with something, he will finish the task. Even becoming a nuisance if someone is trying to blow him off and keeping him from completing the task. He also can have a laser focus when working.
   Outside of work? That... he is re-learning.

Appearance: His most notable feature is his hair. Bright red locks that are naturally curly, creating waves just below the nape of his neck and along the chin line. At work he normally has it gelled back, the liquid keeping it darker, almost brown in the wrong light. In sunlight, though it is bright red, no way hiding the Irish Bloodline. He has bright blue eyes, normally hidden behind a set of glasses, or a book. Or a document. He stands at 5 foot, 10 inches and about 165, most of his weight often worked off while walking the dogs and spending too many hours studying casefiles to find that one piece of evidence. He either has on a button shirt, pressed and slightly rolled up, or a 3/4th shirt and slacks. Unlike most gingers, Mal has a slight tan from constantly walking around outside.
