Ballon Rouge is of an indiscriminant age, average height, and slightly plump. He dresses in stereotypical French garb - beret, striped shirt, black pants/leggings. He can often be found riding a bicycle with a garland of onions around his neck, or else smoking a hand rolled cigarette, sipping a tiny coffee, or painting by the Seine.

When the bridge dropped and the demons came, things changed, including our humble hero. Latent magical powers rose up. Organs became implants.
