Ameiko is the sort of woman who might be called severe. Dressed in lighter shades of pink mingled with gold and silver, her dark hair is worn bound up behind her head, and her wakizashi is always perched high in her obi, as if it were a waiting threat.

New to court, Ameiko is already making a name for herself for her incisive words and vigorous debate. Assigned as Altan's assistant, she works presently with his team of diplomats to further a peaceful resolution to the Lion-Unicorn conflict.

It is whispered, however, that peace is not what she wants.
