Description:
Morton is tall and athletic, he has shoulder length black hair and tanned skin of a man that has travelled a lot in all weathers.
He wears practical travelling clothes, boots and gloves and carries a staff he uses as a walking stick and to defend himself if required.
At his belt are a  number of pouches and a water bottle. Over his shoulders he carries a back pack with all her gear in it.
Across the lower left hand part of his face he wears a scarf, it is both practical, protecting him from cold winds and necessary to cover extensive scaring, the result of dabbling in powers that he could not control as a child.
The extent of the scaring is not visible unless he removes his top, then it can be seen that the facial scars carry on down the left side of his neck, his chest and the full length of his left arm and hand.
His mentor was skilled enough to mend it to an extent that it does not hinder him but the powers unleashed were such that not even his extensive knowledge could remove the scars.

Personality:
Morton is practical and straightforward with an insatiable appetite for knowledge, one of the reasons he carries the  scars to this day.
He has a dark sense of humour and although he will not admit it he does not like to see injustice go unpunished.
He will associate with others but his one true friend and companion, the one thing he will truly lay down his life for is the large grey blood hound called Lady that is at his side day and night. Anyone that were to hurt her would witness the full might of the power he can call upon…and it would probably be the last thing they ever see to.
