Born in the north of Norway, his mother Lena is an architect, his father Arvre designs radar systems. He has an older sister called Regnar who is studying Law back in Norway.

Personality:
Though he can be quite quiet he is not shy, just another Norwegian trait, if there is nothing worth saying then don't say anything.
He is passionate about animals and feels more at home with them than most people. This again stems from his national service. It showed him the darker side of humanity and its need to destroy things. He dislikes the need for violence, though also a realist he will step forward to defend his friends if there is no other way. Though he is a pacifist by nature he is no push over.
