Roxanne Drubble

Mountain Dwarf Swarmkeeper Ranger.

Roxanne has an eager and capable air about her. She loves the process of discovery and doesn't like to leave any stone unturned. She isn't reckless, but doesn't tend to shy away from a bit of danger either. During physical confrontations she likes to wield a throwable melee weapon in each hand.

Roxanne's main motivation for entering the undermountain is to best her older brother, Barry Drubble. They have a mutual interest in making archeological discoveries and have developed a friendly rivalry over who can uncover the best finds. Surely there is a lot worthy of discovery within the Yawning Portal that will put Roxanne thoroughly ahead of her brother in their rankings. Assuming she survives...

As a delver of crypts, Roxanne has developed an affinity for dealing with their undead denizens. She is also quite knowledgeable about stonework and masonry techniques. Lastly, she has a strange fascination of the creepy-crawlies that one might find under an overturned stone or inside a rotting wall. She thinks bugs are cool and often has some crawling on her person. And at higher levels, she even has a constantly-shifting swarm of crawling critters about her who's appearance is constantly changing depending upon her mood and her current needs. One moment it might be a small cloud of moths or butterflies, only to become a buzzing swarm of bees as she strikes a foe. Or a scuttling swarm of crabs as she traverses a waist-high pool. Or maybe an iridescent crust of gleaming beetles as she hunkers down defensively. Her magical spells also take on buggy features whenever she has the capability to cast them.
