This tall, relatively young dwarf is a good friend of Mormir. While Mormir was stuck inside rising through the ranks and training for the Hammers of Moradin, Kilvar was on the front lines, serving the cause of Gauntlgrym in order to see it's dream of a restored dwarven stronghold one day become reality.

Kilvar is a gruff, almost wizened soul, who knows well the difference between right and wrong; he always encourages others to make the right choice in whatever situation they are, but he knows that people cannot be made to be good, and simply moves with the dynamic changes of whatever situation arises.

He'll tolerate decisions that he doesn't like, but that doesn't mean he has to be happy about it, or that he doesn't eventually have a limit.

He followed Mormir into the Underdark in search of the alleged killer of Mormir's father, knowing that he wouldn't be able to do it alone in a place as dangerous as this.
