Medrin is in his late teens and he is a brawler, he is often found at the town's Inn and works there as a bouncer. He is very good with his fists and his hands. He is intolerant of Trienne and her antics and has flatly turned her down every time she's come on to him.

He finds Hurst to be annoying and has broken the other man's nose at least once, when he challenged him drunkenly. Medrin has zero tollerance for stupidity. He has been saving up so he can get out of town. While he is not unhappy here he'd rather live in a big city, where his choices aren't so limited.

When the darkness hit he was working like he usually is. He has been protecting the Inn from trouble. However, he has heard the screams outside of it and may be encountered in the town itself helping others get to safety.
