Description

Aria is a slender woman with dark hair and eyes of the softest blue. Her pale skin, accentuated by just the right application of cosmetics and jewelry, give her an exotic beauty. Her lithe figure is usually swathed in rich garments of black silk trimmed in silver. A holy symbol of Selune, worked in silver, is proudly displayed around her slender neck. The faintest scent of honeysuckle completes the persona she normally shows to the world. This of course, is fiction.

In her true form, Aria is a majestic half-celestial agent of Selune. When combat rears its ugly head the facade of a simple oracle drops. Feathered wings of pristine alabaster sprout from her shoulders and her blue eyes shimmer with celestial power. For protection she dons a breastplate of gleaming mithral and a darkwood shield with the eyes and stars of Selune carved into the rich wood. Her weapon of choice is a finely crafted fauchard, which she wields to deadly perfection. Following behind her and taking up a lazy orbit about her beautiful visage when she stops, are two magenta colored ioun stones. A laden backpack rests on her slender shoulders, the weight enough to drive someone lesser to their knees, but hardly a burden for one of Selune's champions.

Personality

Aria is a very kind and compassionate person. She is a devout follower of Selune and always seeks to spread the Moonmaiden's message wherever she goes. Aria always speaks in a calm, even tone and her skills in diplomacy are what first brought her to the attention of the Company of Light. She is friendly and quick to make friends. Should her trust or friendship be misplaced, she is dogged in her attempts to rectify the situation.

History

Aria was born in Silverymoon to a wealthy glass merchant named Jheron Dane. Her mother Ardra died giving birth, thus Aria was raised mostly by governesses and her father's many servants. A bright and beautiful child, no expense was spared on her education. From history, etiquette, the healing arts, and even combat skills, Aria absorbed every scrap of information she could get her hands upon. It was also during this time her natural proclivity at singing and painting manifested themselves.

As she grew older, her beauty, intelligence, and wit only blossomed. Her father, realizing he had the opportunity to increase the family's power, arranged a marriage between Aria and the youngest scion of a powerful noble house. Aria was appalled and when she turned sixteen she decided to run away and take her chances in the world. Over the next two years her innate abilities reached their zenith and in a terribly painful transformation, her wings made their first appearance. That revelation, along with her devoting her life to Selune's service, helped shape the young woman's future.

Six years have passed and Aria now finds herself a member of the Company of Light. Along with her wolf companion Wyntyr, she does what she can to help those less fortunate than herself. She has even reconciled with her father, though their relationship remains strained.
