Michelle doesn't talk much about her past beyond the fact that she grew up in London and first met her Sire, Andrei, in the '70s not long after a personal tragedy had befallen her. After a few years assisting him as a Ghoul he offered her the Embrace which she accepted and their partnership flourished for decades (including a short lived relationship with a particularly (in)famous Toreador). If it hadn't been for a dramatic rise in Hunter activity against Kindred in recent years, it is likely that she would have remained until her Final Death. Andrei sent her to the United States to begin arranging places for them there and though it has been a number of years now he still has yet to make the journey himself (citing unfinished business in the Isles).
