Description: Martin is from the Cyrus star system where life on his planet has evolved beyond the physical and all beings are ethereal.  As they have no mass they can travel the universe by thought control just concentrating on their destination. Most of the inhabitants spend their time travelling and watching civilizations on different worlds.

Martin had been watching Earth for over 50 years learning many languages and customs when some unknown cosmic disturbance caused his ethereal self to break up and he was forced to transport himself to the surface and take human form.

Abilities:
Martin can for a few moments resume his ethereal nature but he no longer possesses enough power to sustain it.  He is therefore trapped in human form

He had some mind control when he first landed and got his documentations this way.  He had been aware of this special place where other lifeforms could be found whilst watching and so applied for archaeologist when the post became available and made sure he got the job.
