Duties: Al is the resident expert for the radio station. She's got a few advanced degrees- economics and law- and enough general expertise to discuss most any matter statistical. Whenever the station needs someone who can explain a chart of a piece of math, she's on call. Al also handles most of the data journalism duties- decoding data sets and following the most important leads suggested by that.
