A tall, muscular man, with skin and hair as white as paper. He is dressed in fine clothes, dark silks brocaded in gold and a leather vest embroidered in crimson, without apparent weapons or armor. He has uncharacteristically bright blue eyes, shaded behind spectacles of smoked glass, and he is perpetually grinning, sometimes friendly, and sometimes a sardonic smirk.

He moves as gracefully as a dancer, in total self-possession and control over his body, but he also has a sense of languid ease, never moving more quickly than he has to. He seems mildly annoyed when he has to talk, wishing that everyone could speak mind-to-mind and finding the spoken word a bit boorish, and his voice often lacks inflection, sometimes causing misunderstandings. He is reasonably courteous and polite, but refuses to be told what to do, and can be deeply offended if he perceives a lack of respect.
