Maedra'thrae has many tattoos not pictured. They appear to be a gold ink that contrast nicely with her dark skin. First and foremost is a serpent made of smoke and blood wrapped around her shoulders and crossing the top of her chest and back. Around the drow's eyes are a hypnotic pattern, which merge in between and wrap back over her temples.  Her chin and lower lip are tattooed to resemble snake scales and a stylized serpent tongue extending from the middle of her lip. Underneath the smoky serpent is an hourglass that follows down her sternum; a skull sits in the sand of the upper chamber, but the sand does not flow into the lower chamber. Lastly, both her forearms and the backs of both hands are covered in stylized serpents of all varieties, their jaws open to attack.
