Larkspur is now 18 and not only is the fourth of four sisters but has 11 cousins living in a series of sprawling homesteads in the edge of the Gnarlroot forest. She has had to be fairly resilient to deal with the slightly feral upbringing and chaotic co parenting from a series of often feuding family members. Her family bloodline has given her strong abilities with plants. Her older parents do not keep a close eye on her, their will to be anxious parents having been beaten down by her older sisters, and it was not uncommon for her to travel for weeks at a time looking for rare plants in the deep forest.
