Dorian Gray

Name-Dorian Gray, Lady

Age-27

Rank-Civilian Contractor

Job-Occult Specialist (think Egon Spengler from Ghostbusters), Linguist

Country-Jolly Old England

Physical Description-She's five foot six and a half inches tall. She weighs one hundred and thirty five pounds. Her hair reaches to the middle of her back and is dark auburn. It is straight and easy to handle which fits her lifestyle well. Her eyes are dark blue and her skin is lightly tanned, and gives evidence that she is used to hard work as well as study. She prefers comfortable cloths that can take rough handling, such as rugged dependable boots, jeans, and has sworn on her life to never again look at let alone touch or wear heels.

History-Noble blood brought with it a life of wealth and privilege which allowed her to attend the Institut Auf Dem Rosenberg in Switzerland, the American International School in Salzburg, Austria, and finally the Collège Alpin International Beau Soleil also in Switzerland. This allowed her much exposure to multiple cultures and mythologies as well as languages, the last two of which she greatly loved to study. She then attended the University College London for a degree in the Occult, moving on to Cambridge for a masters before earning her PhD at Oxford, and managing to graduate early each time and completing her higher education by the age of twenty two. While she has visited and studied such locations as Blå Jungfrun Island, Sweden, where witches were once thought to commune with the devil, the Mercado de las Brujas (the Witches’ Market) in Lima, Peru, Siquijor, Philippines named the ‘Island of Witches’ by Spanish colonisers in the 1600s, Stone Hinge, the Well to Hell in Russia, and even examined faerie mounds in Ireland to name a few of her travels, Gray has also attended Voodoo ceremonies in the United States and other countries,  circled with Laurie Cabot, interviewed infamous cult member Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme, and worked as head consultant on multiple reality ghost hunting shows and specials. However, her biggest claim to fame was her published works based on Pendle Hill, Lancashire, UK, home to England’s most famous witch trial which took place around Pendle in the 17th century. It involves the story of two matriarchal households, the Demdike and Chattox families, effectively destroying each other with accusations of witchcraft. Gray was the one to discover the infamous 'witch's cottage' where a mummified cat had been bricked up in the walls, as well as prove beyond doubt the original location of the until now elusive Malkin Tower, the ancestral home of the alleged Demdike coven.
