T'leera was born in 2330 in the Province of Raal on the edge of the Voroth Sea. Her mother is an instructor at the Vulcan Science Academy; her father is a Captain in the Vulcan Expeditionary Group. She attended the Academy, graduating top of her class and then, to the shock of absolutely no one in her family, applied to Starfleet. She has always had a certain independent streak much to...bemusement of her family (not that any of them would be so emotional as to admit as much).

When asked why she chose Starfleet over the Vulcan Expeditionary Group, her reply is always the same: "It was the logical choice."

Full-stop.

She is on good terms with her family (she has an older sister who is part of the Expeditionary Group) and the two communicate often.

T'leera is something of an oddity amongst Vulcans as she studies the martial arts of several cultures: Suus Mahna (Vulcan), Mok'bara (Klingon), Anbo-jyutsu, Silat, Kenjutsu (Earth). She finds the mindset of martial arts relaxing and also believes that one way to truly understand a people is to know how they fight. Other Vulcans consider this...irregular. She considers their reluctance to be illogical. She also plays the Vulcan lute and sings in her downtime.

She is a very attractive Vulcan woman with emerald green eyes, and wavy brown-black hair which she wears long as opposed to the typical Vulcan bowl-cut.
