John stands six foot possessing a solid developed frame.  The young man's face is clean shaven, betraying his age.  His short-cut brown hair frames his grey eyes.  They shine with a native intelligence and curiosity.  With his straight, intact, and white teeth he makes quite a handsome figure, particularly when he smiles.

While his skin is clear and tanned, it is marred in places by the faint tracery of old scars.  Additionally his calloused hands and decidedly American accent belie any suggestion of an upper-class upbringing and education.
