Growing up in Florida, Henry was an accomplished student, studying hard to a poor family.
During his childhood, one event that haunted him was when his cousin got sick, and the doctors had no idea what caused it. That lit a fire under Henry, to prevent such a thing ever happening again.

Henry was able to go to college on a scholarship, which from there he got a masters and eventually a doctorate. His research papers in biology, microbiology and chemistry caught the attention of the CDC, where he joined the Office of Public Health Scientific Services.

A recent event pulled Henry into the field, assisting an FBI investigation. A chemical explosion using an unknown compound injured an FBI agent, where their skin started to become translucent. Henry had never seen anything like it before, but did what he could to understand the condition and save the agent, digging through all the notes he could find, and suggesting more 'exotic' theories.

This caught the attention of Delta Green agents, who though that improving their connection with the CDC would mean that in events where their specialisation is needed, having someone they can build a relationship and prevent outsiders being aware of things, would be to everyone's benefits.

Henry is in his early thirties (33), African-American, with a goatee and shaven head.
He has a slim build, and average height.
